K. Jill's Story
To relax I like to be out with nature. When relaxing at home I like to paint (oil, watercolor) or to refinish/restore old furniture.
I always wanted to be a artist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a stupid idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
I have lived in Cleveland and Chicago. Both places a result of job transfers. 22 years with Allstate Insurance as a trainer, then facilitator, and then a manager.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Don Jarvi, because we were friends during my happiest year at school..
I like to watch sports on TV or at a sports bar but can't get into r...Expand for more
eality TV - it appears to lack reality.
My best friend would tell you I'm introverted and uncomfortable in crowds, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as outgoing.
The weirdest job I ever had was consulting with the governement of Minneapolis to help them move into the 20th century with a computerized client file system. Talk about dragging people kicking and screaming into the world of technology! You'd think we were shoving bamboo under their fingernails.
I would describe my style as Bohemian/ Victorian. I was pretty "navy blue and white" in my corporate personna. Glad those days are behind me!
